The story behind my video submission is that with one word you can change the world. By carefully selecting what words you live your life by, you can make the world around you better for everyone. I am 17 and I am from Pikeville, TN. Don't be surprised if you have never heard of my town, most people haven't. Pikeville is just a small town nestled in the Southern mountains. I have a younger sister (15) and a younger brother (7). My siblings and I are all home schooled. My sister and I are members of the Dunlap Ballet School. My mother is the Director of Theatre Education at the Sequatchie Dance Theatre and Director for IMPACT Actors (a local community theater program). Our hearts lie in the performing and visual arts. It was important for me to make this video because on a daily basis I am confronted with decisions that affect how I will react to what is going on in the world around me.
